"Jim Reeves And Some Friends"
This album was available on RCA Victor LSP-4112, circa 1968. This is one of the compilations created after Reeves' death in 1964. His recording career was not all that long, so nearly every note he ever recorded was pressed to vinyl at one point. They even released an album of his private recordings that he made at home. "Love Is No Excuse" and "Look Who's Talking" are done with Dottie West. "You'll Never Be Mine Again" and "My Hands Are Clean" are done with Leo Jackson, the lead guitar player in Jim Reeves' band "The Blue Boys". Most of Jim Reeves Nashville Sound recordings are made using the Nashville Mafia rather than his band. There are a total of six artists Jim Reeves is in duet with on this album. One of the more unique albums of Jim Reeves material issued after his death.
Life can be tough. It can be even tougher if you're stupid.....
