Ebony Stereo Theater
You don't see these very often. I believe this is a model 1MV 415 circa 1961-'62. This one would have the 27" picture tube and the 93 series amp.

That's a beauty. The oriental motif was pretty hot for awhile. Surprised they invested in mass producing the design...
Now how can they afford to ship this for $12.15?

That is nice looking, and, they are very proud of it. They raised the shipping price to $14 something. I guess they are expanding their shipping area.

I think they got it backwards ... the shipping is 850, and they want 15 bucks for the console...

Re: Ebony Stereo Theater
I could be mistaken but didn't John Forsythe (uncle Bentley) in "Bachelor Father" have a black oriental console? I can't find a picture of the living room from the early seasons...

You sure couldn't disprove it by my memory.
It would be interesting to find a blonde Stereo Theater, then refinish it in ebony.

Re: Ebony Stereo Theater
It would be nice to have but I think the price is a weeeeeeee bit high. Wouldn't be hard to find an original changer if they didn't butcher the plinth.
