Hey everyone, Tim from South Georgia here.
I'm a music and audio fan in general. I love live music, especially in a small setting. I got into car audio as a young teen in the late 70's and worked as an installer through my mid-20's, so I lived in stereo shops in my young life. Other passions are cars and rocketry. I'm a Licensed Dispensing Optician and manage an optometry practice in real life.
I was on VintageHiFi.net as username "Alfista" (an Alfa Romeo reference) for a while before it shut down.
I have a good bit of vintage audio odds and ends, and I have 2 consoles. Both purchased from the original owners:
1962 Magnavox Stereo Theater 4ST357MR
1947 Magnavox Regency Symphony

Re: Tim from GA
Welcome aboard!! I remember you from the older forums. Good to hear from you again. We hope you enjoy the forums. I have a 1962 Stereo Theater, 2MV418 that currently suffers from a busted TV chassis. Thanks for sharing your consoles.....

While many of us here have different interests, old audio and cars seem to be central ones. I'm just getting my 1951 Maggie "back on the road."
