New Orthophonic 8 RF 13...

After a member on Antique Radio Forums (where I tend to hang in the phonograph sub forum) detailed their restoration of an RCA 8 rf 13, it re-ignited my love for this oversized table radio (with MCM gold legs), and I oddly found one right as he was finishing up. It kind of fits her and the main HIFI care form because it was designed to have phono or tape added to it. The sound is amazing, as is the case with every New Orthophonic product, and I have just stated the recap process and I will keep you up to date!

Thanks, Mitchell, those big RCA's are so cool. Question, where did you find yours, I have never seen one come up for sale.

Oddly enough, about 2 days after I read the post (which wasn't quite finished restoration), one popped up on FB Marketplace for $20 in Allen Park. Since we are in Detroit off and on, I jumped for it.
