I know this is totally too soon to be asking this, but will this site eventually have the download section for members to share schematics and info like the old site?
Thanks

Re: Files section?
There are a couple things I'm looking at in that regard. At least for the short term, we'll supply information on an "as asked" basis. This way, we can at least meet the person requesting the information and get to know him a little better. I'm not sure I want to keep track of all that information just to be a depository for information available to the general public. The "big forums" don't do that and they have been around eons longer than we have. My intention is to keep this simple enough that I can enjoy the forum, rather than spending all my time managing it. I'm in the process of installing moderators, so that will help. Never say never, but, at this time, our policy will be providing what information we can when someone posts asking for it. We need to figure out what is best for the forum and most convenient for its members. Most of the members on here already have most of that stuff downloaded to their private computers, so it's not rare. And it exists in its entirety on a hard drive and on the cloud for backup.
Life can be tough. It can be even tougher if you're stupid.....

I agree... limits should be set for a person to be able to download a file or at least have a minimum # of posts on the site before they are granted access... wonder how does HIFI Engine allow all the free downloads ?
