I never saw a zenith console with this type of tuner before.... I have seen that tuner as a table radio, which I own ... seems to me I could build the same thing with my tuner ....hmmmmm. The changer looks trashed in the video , but cabinet looks great ..

Re: 1963 Zenith
The doctor that brought me into this world, they were friends with my parents, had that same unit as far as the tuner and changer go. Their cabinet was more MCM and was TOTL in it's day. I remember it having a huge, big, sound.

Re: 1963 Zenith
The tuner you see was in most of the higher-end models from 1962-63. I have seen lower priced models where the tuner is separate and has three knobs that look similar to those.
The three tone control indicators were first introduced on the more expensive 1959 models then re-designed when Zenith was the first to introduce multiplex FM.
Not that I'm any expert on Zenith and besides, the sales literature is pretty darn rare!
I have restored equipment like this recently (three with extended stereo and one with reverberation) and bought two that look similar.
