Who needs Kids?
Our Buddy the Lab/Shepherd/mongrel mix is 11 and we know his time is close ... he has been the most perfect dog we have ever had ... he is a human in dog clothing , I told the wife that he has ruined me from all other dogs because he is so well mannered. ....We decided to take a break from pets when he eventually leaves us . Then we get a frantic call ... wife's cousin has a litter of AKC Beagle pups ... she was selling them , until she got the long face from her doctor unfortunately she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has a few months at best ... so the dogs are being given away ... so my wife brought home "Freckles" the only male and the runt of the litter... so much for taking a break from pets ...I don't know why the site inserts pictures sideways or upside down ... is it something I am doing?

Re: Who needs Kids?
I'm guessing a setting on your phone or camera is what's doing that. I haven't heard of that being a problem with the forum. I posted three or four pictures this morning with no problem...
How can you resist a face like that? What a cute puppy.....
Our side ditch mutt, Bentley, just turned 14. He is losing his hearing and his eyesight is blurry at times. Nothing wrong with his beezer, though. I can open a pound of Colby Jack cheese and that dog will set speed records getting to where it is. His "come" hasn't worked since he was a puppy. His "stay" is depending on if he has had his buggy ride that day. He goes everywhere we go, with only a couple exceptions. We can take him into a building and he will hold his water until it runs out his ears. He has never had a second's formal training. Like your dog, he knew from the time we picked him up off the side of the road, half frozen, that he was "home". He just knows what the right thing is instinctively. He is a 13-pound Poodle/Havanese mix. He was likely born in an Amish puppy mill. He had never had a bath or had a lead on when we got him. I'm guessing he made a mess in the house so he was dumped. He was about 12 weeks old when we picked him up.
I understand how you feel about your dog. I think more of Bentley than many of the two-legged humans I know. It is amazing how a "dumb" animal can make such a contribution to your life. I hope Buddy has many more happy years being the head of the human's household.......

I am very fortunate to have met both Buddy and Bentley and I can tell you all that they are both very cool dogs, and yes, they are four-legged people. There is not a mean bone in their bodies and are always happy to greet you and be petted. Good luck with Freckles, Elton, and I hope Buddy's personality rubs off on your newest member of the family.

Sometimes the picture size will rotate or invert an image. You could try reducing an image to see. Good luck to your eardrums.
Cute pup.
