BIG Philco stereo

This has a gorgeous 72" long cabinet. Really nicely styled, IMHO. I couldn't see well enough to see whether it was tube or not, but I'm guessing probably not. Probably the nicest Philco I have seen.

I zoomed up one of the photos, and it is SS.

And the Philco is from the mid 1960's, based on the custom V-M 1297
record changer.

That narrow tonearm contains a special sized Tetrad cartridge,
which is no longer available.

If you need a replacement cart, you have to do some trimming on
the tonearm, to install the newer Tetrad.

But these prices....

I don't know where people get their prices. I know we like console stereos here on this forum, but they are pretty much a "no sale" to the general public. Yeah, I know, we also have California, so the results can vary.....
