Looks nice, with the usual dreamer's price. I still don't really know what one is worth. Allegedly restored. No Multiplex adapter. It has an eye tube, so it would be a 1959-'60 model Provincial style in Cherry. The ad says it has AFC, but I question that. AFC didn't come out on Magnavox tube tuners until mid-1961 model year. This would still have the eye tube. It doesn't mention the remote control, nor the remote control system that I see. No remote would certainly lower the value.

It's worth whatever someone who actually shows up to buy it will pay for it, most likely between $50 and $500. I saw one for free about 5 yrs ago.

I would agree with your prices as being reasonable. Why everybody who has one for sale thinks they can kill a fat hog is beyond me. Their market is very limited. The things are massive, with shipping costs for most people being prohibitive. It costs a lot to restore one, again prohibitive for most people if they have to hire it done.

The market is limited to those like us who know what it is, popularity and fads notwithstanding, this is a timeless console.

I would rather sell one of my carefully restored "keepers" to a person that will enjoy it and has a place for it, even if its for significantly less $. If I could flip my 62 Declaration for double what I paid, without so much as cleaning it, great but I never got to enjoy it like the SK32, which I broke even on. Its also one I got to thoroughly enjoy.

Most of us have some limitation on bringing home something this large and expecting it to appropriately fit in. I pictured these only in large, rambling post-war mansions. I am imagining my RCA SHF-1 in a huge ballroom or huge deck of a post-modern home. I will have none of those places, my biggest room is 16x18m just big enough?

Of course its Motorola's more popular model in Walnut or Cherry , woven fabric speaker panels (not cat recommended without diversionary measures) .Drexel models staring with SK32 in 1960 and SK77 in 1962, which added reverberation, this after the Masterpeice designations.
