I've finally started wearing suspenders. I had to keep my belt tight enough to cut me in half long enough. I did a bit of looking around and I came across these, that can be worn under a untucked polo shirt. These are the real deal, not stop gap cheepie weepie suspenders. The clasps have a stud incorporated into them so they will not come loose and the clasps are stainless. The shoulder straps use velcro as the fastener and are pretty comfortable. I'm glad to have found them.

Re: Another Mark Of Growing Older
I always wear suspenders with suits if they match the tie or a plain, solid pattern suspender like a gray or blue. Belts are for sport coats and suits where I don't wear French cuff shirts with cuff links...
Suspenders make you look taller without a jacket or jacket unbuttoned but they also make your pants move with your hips as they are "suspended" and not cinched with a belt.
As confining as a tuxedo can be, suspenders are a must...
It's not growing older, it's getting smarter like our dads and grandfathers....

No need to age DISgracefully.
We're all "cracked".

As many of us advance in age, especially we who are beer drinkers, we increasingly suffer from Dunlap's Disease.
According to Red Green that's "when your gut Done Laps over your belt" LOL.
So far I've been sticking with a belt, but those suspenders look good!
