Garrard mystery find

Among the many treasures found in my Mom's house (the latest, my 1960 Boy Scout National Jamboree jacket; still fits and even zips up if I suck in my gut) was a set of drawstring cloth bags bearing the imprint "Garrard Sales Corp., 80 Shore Road, Port Washington, L.I., N.Y." They are 4" x 6" and have a stiff paper mailing label attached, "To:___________________" still in blank, a place for "STAMPS," and "Return Postage Guaranteed.". On the back of those tags are handwritten numbers, probably part nos. Many years ago, like maybe 1965 or '66, I renovated an RC-80 with new motor mount bushings and the little rubber belts for the intermediate drive capstans. Maybe these were from that time, shipped together in a box. Or maybe there's some other explanation. These days everything comes in a too-large box with some bubble wrap or crinkled brown paper to fill some of the space. But back then they trusted a drawstring tied in a knot to ship parts. And I'll bet they got there.
