Re: Nice Westinghouse console
That's a nice looking unit, it must be TOTL for Westinghouse. I wonder what's under the hood?

Re: Nice Westinghouse console
I was hoping that a member with a Sams library would help with that.

Re: Nice Westinghouse console
The circular radio dial faceplate reminds me of the ones missing on the Westy I found in my Uncle's attic. Dave MM has it now, I gave him the SAMS. it was a hot chassis 35eh output tube unit with about the smallest output xfmrs I've ever seen, this one should (hopefully) be better than that. The electronics were kinda the ultimate bean-counter special, at least until that pathetic hot-chassis Zenith posted the other day!

Re: Nice Westinghouse console
This is not a TOTL unit, but a series-heater tube model with OK sound and performance. It is like one I have and $40 was too much for it but a nicely styled VM player is the best part.
I think the TOTL Westy has a big round dial like a Zenith, few seen but I got these images of two that meet those criteria.
