Using a Google browser
I have been having trouble with seeing all the new posts on the forum on my phone. We had a member recently who posted pictures from his phone. Some of them posted on their sides. I did some research and found the forum software we use specifically recommends to avoid Google Chrome or other Google browsers. Firefox , Microsoft Edge or Bing are their recommendations. My phone has Google loaded on it, so that's what I use. I see the post count increasing, but I don't see new posts. When I get home on my desktop PC, I can access all the posts I was missing. I use Microsoft Edge as a browser on the PC. Bill was having trouble recently. I mentioned to him what I'd found, so he tried using Bing as a browser. His trouble went away. So if you are having issues with either "losing" new posts or not being able to see pictures on your phone or other personal device, AND you are using a Google browser, you might try another browser and see if the difficulty disappears. I know I can't do any "admin" type activity on my phone using a Google browser. I perform the operation on my phone, but it doesn't appear in my control panel. This recommendation applies to all forms of devices, including desktop PC's.

Re: Using a Google browser
I've had no apparent problems with Firefox, though it's a bit inconvenient to have to log in each time I access the site.

Re: Using a Google browser
Isn't there some provision to save your username and password? Firefox is one of the recommended browsers. Thanks for the update.

There is a checkmark to that effect. This works with all other forums, except this one.

Wonder why not? I think there is a "remember me" selection when you log in. you might check to see if that is checked to the affirmative.
