Olympic Dual-Stereo Console

Post: # 29903Post Hi-Fi-Mogul »

This gal needs some new grille clothe or a cleaning,
and I'd change out the BSR changer.

It would be a nice MCM console, and
the control panel is really cool looking.

Seller now says " make me an offer ".

A VM 1200 series changer would be a huge improvement. ;)

I had one of these years ago. It had Jensen "special design" woofers and a well built cabinet. I felt it was a big step above the other Olympic sets I've seen.

I don't remember much about the receiver because I was a kid and unable to overhaul it. I don't even know if it was push-pull or not.
I used the cabinet with an outboard Heathkit amp and was impressed with the speakers and the sound of the cabinet.

Thanks, Ken. I wish the ad offered the model number that way we could Google it and maybe find more information.

A-ha! It may be a model 7511 with single-ended 6BQ5 outputs.
