Howdy y’all!
My son was gifted a Magnificent Magnavox from his grandmother and we are going to attempt to restore it together.

Hi Becky,
Just a heads up, please read the "RULES," especially
numbers 13, 14, 15 and complete what is being requested in 13,14,15. Once
that is complete we will be able to approve your membership and anything
you post. After three approved posts you will have full access to
everything the forum has to offer. Thank you and we are looking forward to
having you onboard with all the help and knowledge the forum has to offer.

Re: Becky from Texas
What Bill said and welcome to the forum! We're glad you found us and we hope you will enjoy the forum!
If you could post whether your stereo is tube or solid state, then post the model number of the amp chassis and tuner chassis so we can help you further. Does anything work now? Have you had experience repairing electronic devices? We have a good collection of service information in our Downloads section, available in the navbar under the header at the top of this page. You might also refer to the Getting Started board for good general information. Once we get more information on what you have, what you want from the project and what facilities you have to get the job done, we can give you an idea of where you need to start. Just work safe. If you aren't sure, ask. Better safe than sorry. Good luck and welcome aboard!
