Hilton AC-300A Crestwood, Ky. $125

Post: # 26110Post danrclem »

Here's what I'm pretty sure is a Hilton AC-300A. Here's your chance to call your own square dance. I read that it was rated at 300 watts. I don't know if that's accurate or even RMS watts but I'd think that it would have to be pretty powerful to put out sound in a big area. I think they were very expensive when new so $125 might be a good price.

I'm not going to buy it because I need another piece of equipment that I won't use like I need another hole in my head.

That is an interesting unit, very modern looking and kind of high tech. I have never heard of that brand, but the tape player I recognize. Thanks for sharing, Danny.

That phono appears to have a continuously-variable speed control, and a more sophisticated tone arm than is usual on P.A. type devices. Wish we knew more and had better pictures.

Here's some good pictures of one that sold on Ebay. I just think this is a very interesting unit.
