Capacitors and Resistors Known as Passive Components

Post: # 255Post Hi-Fi-Mogul »

I'm starting this topic for information sources in learning about
identifying capacitors (caps), resistors and their
different characteristics.
The linked sources also give details on how to replace
your old components with modern ones.

Some of the links are from vacuum tube radio resources, but the
basic info will apply to vacuum tube audio amplifiers w/o a radio circuit.

All good sites, and lots of info for the beginner. I have used all of them at one time or another, and I still refer to them when I forget things which in my old age happens often.
