Wow, that is red! Probably worth the dollars but a long ways for me to go and I am very happy with my Imperial. If I am not mistaken, AJO was a town built by a mining company in that area for there workers.

Is that an original color or did they paint it black?

It looks to me to be a original Ebony unit because the rear and inside are black from when they built it. It has the remote chassis, So it's a 59 or 60? it still has the magic eye. My ebony continental looked dull like that until I cleaned it really well and polished it. The top glass is gone which would make it look stellar. It deserves to be saved. Hydro

I wish they had shown a photo of the changer, I think between 1959 and 1960 Magnavox went from a Collaro Conquest to the Collaro 600. This one has the tuning eye and I am not sure when they went from the eye to the meter.
