This unit looks to be very well cared for and partially functioning. I like the clean lines. The metal lattice might be off putting to some, but I like it on my Philco. Some of the original paperwork. I can make out 12AX7 from the schematic sticking out the envelope. Is that a version of the 1200 series changer? I'm fond of the 1234 in my 62 MW.

Of course it went quick... good guts, plus a handsome box in good condition, for pennies. Not to mention that it was from Michigan!

That's model 817, from 1960 and sold for $375.00. It's marked sold and now fading so I cannot see any of the other photos, but VM used pretty much all 12AX7's in their preamp stages and this unit was either PP 6V6 or 6BQ5's. The price was definitely right, and someone jumped at the chance to own it. I just hope they are not selling off the amp.
