$500 Florence Knoll amp-less 3 piece Garrard and E-V 12TRXB Noblesville, IN

[macgolf]

Interesting Florence Knoll designed 3 piece blonde MCM set up. No amp but does include what looks to be a period correct Garrard changer. She has roots back to Michigan. Don't know if that had anything to do with the choice of Electro-Voice 12TRXB for the speakers. Possibly the purchaser made that decision. It looks like some of her furniture can bring some money. Wasn't familiar with her until doing some research.

I spent a lot of time in Noblesville. I was raised about ten miles east of town,,,,

It appears this cabinet was to accommodate discrete
components, such as amp, tuner, et cetera.

What a sweet piece of hi-fi history.

The Knoll designs are arch-typical cool in my book.

I like the styling... Whoever drew the movie "The Incredibles" based it in the 50's/60's... I loved that art deco era in design...
