Forum migration stuff

Post: # 21633Post RADWebsites »

Hello again everyone, sorry for the disruption. @electra225 asked me to migrate the forum away from hostgator, and the deadline was coming up fast so I decided to do it in the middle of the week with no warning. I'll continue working on getting the gallery working (if possible) later. In the meantime, you're all on our hosting platform now, so the forum should feel much faster. If you have any issues, let me know. Thanks! - Mark w/ RAD Websites

Thanks, Mark, I never noticed anything going on so it must have been a seamless transition.

Hey Mark, I just received a call from Greg telling me that he cannot not login and neither can Rex. For some reason I can, so I do not know why I am the lucky one and Greg and Rex are not so lucky. Also, for some reason all of the photo attachments are gone, all we have are blank white spots where the photos should be located. I am not sure if other members are having the same issues or if it is just Greg and Rex who is the other moderator besides me.

OK, guys, if any of you are having trouble or notice anything not right, please comment what you are seeing here at this post. Thank you for your patience while we are making this transition to a much better system. And thank you, Mark, for all your efforts keeping us up and running.

The photos as I see them are partially pixellated with color
bars fragmented across the photo area.

But this screen photo I posted, I can see fine.

Mr. Mogul. On my end the only photo that is available is the one that is pixelated with the color bars. I do not have a clear photo. I do know that this is one of the problems that Mark is working on as he continues to get things transferred over to the new system.

From what I am being told, Elton, this is issue is taking place because of the transition from our hold host to our new host. Mark, our new host manager is working on getting things back on track. Right now, between Greg, Rex, and myself, I seem to be the only one in "management" that can login and do anything. Greg and Rex can view as a guest but that's about it until Mark gets everything switched over. I guess in this case, "patience" is a virtue. ;) :)

Thanks, Bill, for your steady hand at the helm during the transition. As to the photo image issue, Mark thinks he has the solution and is working on it. We appreciate everyone's patience.
