I removed the back. It has all magnavox tubes and it looks like its never been disturbed 846 is the date on the speakers. It missing a glass panel BUT....

That one has the AMP-182. Mine has the 8100 series amp. Have you been following my project, trying to find where the bass response escaped from mine? I still haven't found it.... ;)

Last year I purchased some parts from a guy. Included with other parts were these three glass panels.

I wish my Imperial was that cabinet style instead of French Provencial. That is one gorgeous piece of furniture.

Wow I can just imagine seeing that, in an otherwise ordinary 1959 house, how that would set off any decor. Truly a pretty instrument, thanks for sharing.

I am so jealous, Hydro. I love the way my Imperial sounds, won't trade it for anything, but so wish it was that cabinet. That is one gorgeous piece of furniture.
