Bill Robinson WIRE AM 1430

I have been looking all over for a tape of Bill Robinson. This was my favorite radio station when I was hauling grain. WIRE was a barn burner AM station out of Indianapolis. I could hear it clearly, almost like FM now, all the way to the Ohio River and as far north as the Indiana Toll Road. WIRE was a county station. WIBC was the clear channel AM station in Indiana back in those days, but WIRE was the most powerful country station. WMAQ and WJJD in Chicago were good stations as well if you were a country fan. Bill Robinson (The BR show) was my favorite disc jockey. Lee Shannon followed Bill Robinson at noon. I never have found a tape of him yet.
