Interesting, very interesting. Seems they have finally seen the "error" of their ways.
They got rid of tubes from their catalog years ago. Not a smart move.
Then they caused backlogs on reproduction graphics even before the pandemic hit. Seems they used every excuse possible (going by ARF posts with unhappy individuals). And I know it wasn't just a few "Negative Nancy's", there were a number of what I consider valid complaints. I have my gripes with them as well.
Now, out of the clear blue, all of a sudden (golly, did they realize now, that their bottom line is in peril?) I get this very telling e-mail. Some of which contradicts their previous statements.

I gave up on Radio Daze years ago. They were good at promising, not so good at delivering what they promised.

For me, they vanished in the rearview years ago.

I had some good experiences with their Philco escutcheons. When I needed grille cloth, it was cut properly.
Location is close enough, AES is just too far away, high shipping costs and delays.

AES wants $32 to ship $20 worth of Tolex less than 20 miles. I always just go pick up whatever I order. They have been prompt with me getting stuff picked and ready for pickup. They don't "know anything about anything" so if you have a question, good luck with that. I get aggravated every time I do business with them, but they have the best prices going on new tubes and Tolex. Unless you are buying TV tubes, their NOS tubes are astronomically priced.
