It is hard to un-see this rig. Check out the filter caps. Why so many caps to replace a three-element electrolytic? Two watt output from its six inch speakers? I can't find another like it anywhere. I wonder if the cabinet was originally covered in Tolex.....

That guy is real proud of his stuff. Wonder if he actually sells anything for that price?

Was that cabinet originally covered in Tolex? I think the guy finds old beat-up stuff, then covers it in Tolex. He does a nice job at Tolex, I have to give him that.

Looks like maybe 8" speakers? Anemic OPTs. I'll bet he had to parallel the filter caps to get the values he needed.

I was thinking the same thing ... I bet it was a wooden cabinet in the beginning ....think of the time to cover each unit coming down the line....

If the guy does the work himself, my hat's off to him. He does beautiful work. The electronics are not so impressive.
