Just heard this on the radio. He was 76.

I do not like seeing obits for somebody my age. Prefer the one I saw today for a guy who was 99.

Chris Campbell

[electra225]

I have a half-brother who turned 76 in August.

Had a "deleted" of a run that most of us never will. Not necessarily a huge fan but I'd like to trade a month of my life

Made a dynasty out of one song. He'll outlast a lot of current pop stars.

[electra225]

I wasn't a huge fan, either, but I recognize his position in the music world. About all of his stuff I know much about is "Marguritaville" and "It's Five O'clock Somewhere" that he did with Alan Jackson.

[Conelrad]

He finally stepped on that pop-top.

The guy sure knew his Margarita's RIP
