Record Clubs

Post: # 13999Post Hi-Fi-Mogul »

Greg made note that the Columbia Masterwork little
SS player I'm working on may have come from
joining the CBS record club.

"6 Albums for only $2.99 !!!" or such.

Oh yes, I remember those record clubs.

But like The Beaver, you have to tell them to STOP sending
you the new album of the week.

That was a hilarious episode !

I think Gilbert and the Beav are playing a Phonola,
with the requisite V-M changer.

My uncle was a member of the Columbia Record Club for years.
I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.....Thomas Alva Edison

Mogul (name? location?), I belonged to Columbia Record club, they were a good deal but you had to take what they sent you or return it, a pain. I dropped it after 1 year.

Go to 25:33 and it's changed to a Collaro record changer.
