Waters Conley Phonola

Post: # 13803Post electra225 »

Bill was asking whether Phonola was a company or a model. Both, I guess. Waters Conley was the company in Minnesota. Phonola was the brand they sold record players under.

Very good. My brother has a Sears-brand acoustic phono, as I recall, a table-top model that was probably made by this company.

Nice read. Thanks for posting, Greg. Haven't come across any but will know where to look should that change.

Waters Conley also made wind-up phonographs for the US army in WWII.

Elton, that kind of reminds me of a GE Trimline that I have waiting in the same que. ;) :) Your Phonola and my GE look very similar.
