Here's a Stromberg-Carlson early version of a home theater.

It is a beauty. And it's a Stromberg-Carlson, so it would be well-built. They guy is firm on the price. It's been on CL for almost a year now. Maybe moving the decimal point would get him some action, but then he'd have a really small audience. He is going to own it for some time yet, unless he realizes it simply isn't worth $2500.

Interesting piece. Magnavox was building TV/radio/phono combos then, too. My Dad bought a 1951 version, minus the TV (no TV stations around when he bought it) but with space and the selector-switch position for one.

The vertical radio dial/control layout is very similar to a '46 Philco (46-1213) I have.

Does anybody recognize that changer??

Webster-Chicago, maybe? By the time this thing was built, the changer might be a 3-speed model.
