Rare ? - yes in this case. Never saw an Admiral that interesting, but it is solid state and for a few years the US TV manufacturers really played that up while console HiFi's were still selling well. The plus here is that it is in a nice cabinet, otherwise it would be ignored despite the decent electronics inside. The record player is an Ensign made by Admiral, not exactly as TOTL as the controls look.

I have an Admiral color TV combination from 1965 and the stereo part worked as found, uses T.I. transistors
