I thought this was interesting, mostly because of the different tubes used per channel. Why? The speakers seem to be the same for both sides.

The 50EH5 and the 35-version are the same electrically, the difference is heater voltage. RCA used those tubes so they would fill up the line. 35 + 35 + 50 == 120, the voltage on the line. This is a one-tube wonder stereo.
