As much as I have great respect for the kill-a-watt, I thought, self, 'I can make my own'!
So, with a bunch of scrap lumber, a can of black spray paint, covid boredom and all other items required except for the three meters, this handy little box turned out extremely well.
It sits right on top of my Tice variac and allows me to monitor all aspects of juice as I turn up the volts on a piece of old hi-fi gear...

nice , I made one myself minus the digital readout also operated through my variac... to figure watts I use a calculator

Now I feel kinda dumb for asking, except that the parts list is useful. So basically it's either the digital meter or the two analogs. That's easy enough.
