My only problem is the silver solder companies now use ... rosin core does not mix at all... so now you gotta have both on hand depending on the age of the equipment you are working on...

All the current equipment I work on uses high tin alloy solder. It has poor physical strength, necessitating many of the repairs we have to perform (with good old Sn60 rosin core).
