I'm trying to identify what cartridge is in my Magnavox Symphony. The only identifying info on the cartridge are numbers, which look to me like a Magnavox part number. 560315-1 with 603 under the other number. On Gary's site it looks like the Pfanstiehl P-156 which is no longer available. Can anyone confirm that is the cartridge, and, if so, who made it? Maybe EV? Thank you!
Bill

Re: Cartridge!
Before I tell you wrong, I will wait for Ken to help us. It looks close to the pic of the EV 132 I posted.
Life can be tough. It can be even tougher if you're stupid.....
Re: Cartridge!
560315-1 cross references to E-V 150, which I believe is very similar, if not the same, as an E-V 132. Sadly, these cartridges have been out of production for quite a while.
I used to have a chart showing the Magnavox cartridge numbers and the E-V numbers, but I can't find it.

Re: Cartridge!
Thank you, Ken, I was hoping it was the same as a EV132. And, I fully understand not being able to find things.

Re: Cartridge!
The VM site shows E-V 274 as available. The only choices all require soldering pin lugs to replace flat blade lugs. Mounting clip is a bit different, tone arms with single screws can be refitted, the cart then snaps in.
I used these BSR / EV274 on RCA players to replace the "airplane" 644 needle carts which always have a dust-encrusted, shrunken compliance widget.
