Howdy

Post: # 4128Post FrankB »

Hello, I am FrankB

ET for over 50 years.
Equipment worked on: home entertainment, commercial, lab, & industrial electronics.
I also collect all types of service manuals and electronics magazines.
Was an ASC for 20-30 different brands of devices and equipment.
I collect & repair antique radios, plus collect tubes and old tube boxes, and was a member of the Tube Collectors Assn. until it disbanded.
Federally licensed amateur radio operator, and an apprentice locksmith.

Crusty, and downright cantankerous at times.
The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask. We all gotta learn somewhere.

I don't have a lot of corporeal time left, and am willing to share what I know with others. When I am gone, what I have not passed on will be lost.

I moderate for another electronics forum, belong to several, and am a moderator for numerous YouTube channels, most non-electronics related.

Will Rogers said, "We are all ignorant, just on different subjects." Me, I have a wide range of ignorance, so it's always good to welcome somebody with knowledge. I hope you enjoy our projects and sharing.

Welcome aboard Frank.

As a late comer to learning about tube and
other electronics, it's really great to have
your added knowledge.

One thing I enjoy about being older, is I
don't get embarassed by asking questions,
so I can keep learning.

Welcome FrankB! I hope your time here is rewarding and enjoyable. I think it's a very nice bunch of people.

I'm getting up there in age too, I even noticed that I don't have the patience I had earlier in life. It's great here, so friendly.
