How about a '76 Buick Electra Limited

This is a low-mileage car, but not nearly as nice as the '72 I posted. This one is the mid-line Electra. The Park Avenue was the top-line model. By '76 the 455 wouldn't outrun a well-tuned Pinto. The interiors were really nice. They put those silly opera windows in the "C" pillar which pretty much killed the rooflines. This one has "hooptie" tires and wheel covers. These cars were the darlings of the demolition derby crowd, along with Chrysler Imperials. You could put almost any engine in these things you wanted to for derby duty. Not very good cars by big Buick standards. Body fit and finish was horrendous. The last year for a big Buick, sadly. The best feature of the '74 to '76 models is they flattened the hood. And the interiors were nicer.

They were quite elegant, every bit as luxurious as a Sedan de Ville which shared that roof. They're not shy about the price for that... and it's NOT a typical mid-70s color which adds to the appeal for me...

It's not worth what they are asking for it. It's a '76 four door hardtop for starters. The '75''s and '76's aren't that popular with Buick collectors. The Park Avenue series is the one to get if you want a '76. Those things will put a Cadillac to shame. They have an inlaid vinyl top standard, and a sun roof is an option. I personally don't care for the looks of the '75 and '76's, partly due to the opera window in the "C" pillar and partly due to the smashed looking front end and grille. They have the wrong whitewall width tires on that car which doesn't do it any good, either.
