Ebony 1959-'60 Concert Grand.
I almost bought one like this instrument a few years ago. It was missing its "Concert Grand" badge above the tuner and didn't have a remote control. The cabinet needed to be refinished. I don't remember the story on it, but thought you guys might like a picture of it. I am digging thru an external hard drive I found. It's like Christmas all over again. I hope I can find the picture again. I just learned that if you take a picture off an external hard drive, you need to download it to your computer before you can post it. Or I may be doing something wrong......

Re: Ebony 1959-'60 Concert Grand.
There was a thread about a Concert Grand with a modern cabinet that had no legs, no sliders and no back, in generally beat-up condition. IIRC, it is in North Carolina. Were it a tad bit closer, I'd consider getting it, making the missing parts, then doing it in ebony. One of our former members had Fred Taylor do a Brittany or Berkshire in ebony and it was stunning. I'd remove all the electronics then ship it to Fred in Texas. Just too much money with all the shipping I'd have to pay for.
