I cannot make out the console brand that might be in one
photo.

I'm interested in what brand record changer that is in there.

No room at my inn, but $20 for a stylish mid-century
stereo cabinet is a deal.

Admiral. No guess on the changer.

I am pretty sure the changer is a V-M made for Admiral. Although I believe at one time Admiral made their own changers but I think that was back in the 78 era.

That is an Admiral record changer.

Admiral changers from the 1960s look a lot like VM changers from the top, but the mechanism underneath is very different.

Yeah, I was trying to remember "Ensign", as I've worked on
only a couple of them, and I knew is wasn't a V-M changer.

So, the console dates mid-1960's from the Lafayette catalog
listing.

I might try to find someone with a Face Smook acct to see
if the owner can supply the console model #.

Well, I guess I was wrong, but they sure do look like a V-M from the top. Thanks, Ken, but I am not sure I should be thanking you for the rabbit hole with the Lafayette catalogs.
I found my first record changer in the 1968 catalog. I sure miss companies like Lafayette.

My uncle had an Admiral console much like that one, if not identical to it. It had two chassis with a 5U4 rectifier and P-P 6BQ5 audio. It sounded really nice. He got it from the Columbia Record Club, on a promotion. Circa 1963.
