I found this at the same swap meet as the Philco. This 1909 Edison Standard D cylinder player needs a new mandrel bearing to run again! The original is made of swollen pot metal preventing the motor to spin and play a record. This contains no dangerous electronics that will zap me if I make a wrong move! This is something i'm confident on working on myself!

I see yours is a Home model, I have one of those too. I have a few Model H reproducers that came from other machines I have. I sometimes use Ebay or the Yankee Trader section on the Talking Machine Forum. For Belts on a Edison standard I use a GE O-ring for a water filter. Iv'e have machines I did with the O-ring years ago and still play and track fine. I absolutely HATE those leather belts!! I've ALWAYS screw them up when trying to make them!

I have one (can't remember which model) and it has a device that makes it play the song again. I'm not sure if it's all there though.

I have gotten all of the old pot metal mandrel bearing chipped away BUT the upper pulley and mandrel gear are COMPLETELY frozen to the mandrel shaft. I tried oil, PB blaster, etc and they are Not freeing up so I'm gonna try and use my soldering iron (yes I bought a new one but it's a cheap one) and if that doesn't work, I got a butane torch that will hopefully melt all the old grease thats keeping this stuff stuck.

Before you directly apply heat try a hair dryer on the highest setting. I am not a fan of direct heat, touching something, but have had really good luck with a hair dryer. Don't be afraid of getting it HOT, like hot enough you shouldn't touch it. Then if that does not work...

Sadly the upper pulley never came, and the seller has not responded to my messages. Instead of ghosting your PAYING customers at least inform there will be a delay!
Welp. I'm gonna get my 33 bucks back and the seller a rare negative mark from me...
