New member with a Motorola hifi

Hello everyone new member here, my name is ean from Phoenix, AZ.
I received a Motorola hifi in a Drexel cabinet in a will and I'm very excited to get it working again! Looking forward to leaning more about it!

Again welcome. Please check out your first post under Motorola where you will find information to help both you and all of us figure out just what model. I have a good idea but a photo of your Motorola with the back off would help. Also, do not turn it on again, you can do severe damage to vintage tube equipment by doing so.

Good to know, I figured the noise it made was obviously not right so I shut it off right away and decided I needed help from some more seasoned veterans.

Welcome to the forum! Although my collection is primarily Magnavox, I have a Motorola stereo, ST-82. I also have a few GE stereos I got from a friend. They accumulate once you get started. Some of us have learned the fine art of "stacking". There is always room for ONE more.......
