I came home from "choring" just now and find my wife has the old Imperial fired up, playing Christmas music. The CD player wasn't plugged in, so KEZ 99.9 FM is on. They started playing Christmas music a couple of weeks ago. The Imperial probably hadn't been on in several weeks. Still seems to sound okay. I think this is a hint for me to get the CD player going.....

Our public radio station's email newsletter had a discussion of pre-Thanksgiving holiday music. Some love it.some hate it. I'll admit to being puzzled by why some people had 10-foot Halloween skeletons up in Sept, and get grumpy when Ace Hardware moves all their good stuff out of the way in Oct. to make room for Xmas stuff. Everything in its place, folks.

KEZ is a rock station, but they do a good job with Christmas music. Lots of the older stuff, not a lot of repetition.
