Collaro L600 Motor - Original ?

I helped I.D. this changer on another forum, but what is
very odd is the motor.

I've never seen this type of motor; is it a replacement ?

That is an odd one all right. It looks like the black thing rotates, maybe like a fan? I wonder if this is a European motor?

Maybe it's a big heat sink to keep the motor cool? Manufacturers often adapted their stock devices to fit a specific application's needs, or to solve a problem that showed up in service.
