Perhaps the best bargain on ebay. If it was closer. Shipping would be the killer.....

I always thought those to be cool mono units. There was a newer version that I have seen, it had the Collaro 600 series changer. It looks like this one has the Collaro 456 changer.

I have trouble identifying the early Collaro changers. The 456, the Custom and the Conquest look a lot alike to me. I think the 456 still has the "wheel" that sticks out the top of the tone arm, part of the cartridge. I would have guessed "Custom" so that shows what I know....

456 is what my Berkshire has and it looks like the changer in your Maggie ad. The 456 has the removable head shell. The are heavy, clunky changers that plow as they play records. At least that is my opinion.

The Imperial has a "Custom" changer, the Concert Grand has the Conquest. They look identical to me. Why couldn't you put a later stereo Collaro in your Berkshire, then bridge it for mono? In fact, the Custom and the Conquest look identical to the S-600 on the bottom.....
I have always considered the Custom and Conquest, as well as the S-600, to be "light" on their feet. Mine track well at 5 grams...

It would need to be a Conquest or Custom, the 600 and newer have the 45 adaptor hole/pocked built into the changer (LH rear corner) so they won't fit the plinth on the Berkshire.
