Hello all, Dont know what to think of the grill cloth but could be a really nice unit.

Wow, that is red! Probably worth the dollars but a long ways for me to go and I am very happy with my Imperial. If I am not mistaken, AJO was a town built by a mining company in that area for there workers.

Is that an original color or did they paint it black?
My son is in Arizona until Tuesday. Maybe I should ask him to bring it back with him as a carry-on.

It looks to me to be a original Ebony unit because the rear and inside are black from when they built it. It has the remote chassis, So it's a 59 or 60? it still has the magic eye. My ebony continental looked dull like that until I cleaned it really well and polished it. The top glass is gone which would make it look stellar. It deserves to be saved. Hydro

The seller has an amp sitting on top of a speaker, an invitation to microphonics....

I wish they had shown a photo of the changer, I think between 1959 and 1960 Magnavox went from a Collaro Conquest to the Collaro 600. This one has the tuning eye and I am not sure when they went from the eye to the meter.
