Classic Hifi Care

Hello guys, I have been watching a few of the repair guys and have admired the tools and test equipment they have. In particular Mend it mark has a microscope he uses to film his repairs. Just for fun I looked for one on craigslist and within the hour I purchased one !
Its a Omano 2300 7 x 45 with 10 x 20 eyepieces. On a really nice boom. I have been in contact with microscopes.com to get the parts I need to complete the unit. I now have a .5 Barlow lens coming. I guess this increases the working distance but also increases the field of view. I know its probably early for me to get one. But this is fun dealing with new kinds of equipment. Hydro

He makes working with SMT's look like child's play with his microscope.... my eyes are getting so bad now I need one just for normal viewing

Hello Guys I received the .75 Barlow lens today and installed it on the microscope. It seems to be the perfect magnification 3.5 x 45 now. It should give a lot of hours of fun.
