Getting Started suggestions

Post: # 3Post electra225 »

I'd like this board to be a non-discussion board. This is the place where those who are more experienced can share their knowledge with those just starting. Share your procedures for how you check out the new instrument you just got. Troubleshooting, parts, tools, safety procedures, safety equipment, parts sources, anything that will help a "newbie" get their feet on the ground and figure out where to start, safely and, hopefully, successfully. If you forget something, you can edit your post, or simply post again. We can refer folks to this board rather than answer the same question a myriad of times, possibly overlooking something important.
