Tastes changing again...

Post: # 21884Post hermitcrab »

I started out hot and heavy into antique radios ... and still have a few ... then one day I found a 1968 silvertone console on the curb , that started the console fascination and have a few of them scattered all over the house , Now since I have the Phonola, the Fisher and now the GE which I am still working on... I find myself looking for consolettes ...they are easy to store and don't suck up floor space like their bigger cousins ... what will be next?... who knows

I have seen what you have scattered and it's all nice stuff, stuff you should be proud of. As far as taking out room, well they kind of do. :)

I have those little GE Trimline stereos. I store them under the bench right now. I need to figure out how to give them a new home. They are addictive. I can see me getting carried away with collecting those. I have absolutely no room for that.....

I now have two of them, one is a Trimline 400 tube model, the other one is SS with a built-in radio and yes, they could become addictive.
