1963 Pontiac 326 V-8

This was news to me. I knew Pontiac used a 326, but was not aware that they cheated in 1963 with engine displacement. Buick cheated in '65, calling the 401 a 400. Chevrolet used the Buick 322 in its Loadmaster series trucks in 1955 thru 1957. Dad had a '56. It used the high-compression version of the 322 with a two-barrel carb and governor. They would run like a scalded dog with a 4-barrel and disconnected governor. I knew GMC used Pontiac engines in that era, but was unaware of the connection with two versions of the 326 V-8.
