I'm not sure what model the Fisher is, but it looks deluxe with a PP amp showing in the bottom of the cabinet. The changer is a Garrard.

The Magnavox is called the Symphonette, model TP262D. It uses amp 151-CB which is a PT powered 4 tube amp with PP 6AQ5's. There are 3 speakers and it used a Collaro changer.

I have a Magnavox Duette, model TP266D, and it has a VM changer, three speakers, and PP 35C5's and it's not PT powered. I paid $35.00 for mine.

Both units are in the 1957 Magnavox brochure listed here in the downloads. Between the two, the Symphonette is definitely the more deluxe unit and probably worth the asking price. If it were closer, it would be mine.  ;) :)

That is in detroit... the magnavox is literally a stones throw away, but alas it is gone already...

I'm always late to the party. Oh well, I really didn't need it anyway. Do we ever need just one more?  Of course, we do! I wonder if someone on the forum got it?
