I think this is the series of Cadillac that one of our members likes. This is a nice one, for sale. ;)

Nice car. I never had a 5.7 car. I had a 5L 90 with the olds 307 and it was doggy. The 91 has the Chevy 305 (FI) and it's a lot more confident.

I didn't realize that Cadillac put the 350 in the old body cars. I thought that came with the Chevy Caprice Fleetwoods. The guy who designed the horrible "pregnant" Lincoln Town cars must have designed that last rear drive Fleetwood/Buick Roadmaster. The Buick version was a horrible car. I wanted one of them in the worst way. The wife and I test drove a new '93 at Tony Coury Buick in Mesa. The fuel pump went out on the Demolition Derby Freeway, so we spent a hot two hours in August along the side of the road in our new Buick Roadmaster waiting for a tow truck. Needless to say, that pretty much satisfied my desire to own one.

Walter that '91 of yours represents arguably one of the nicest-looking Cadillac they ever made.

There was a couple in town who hit it it large in Atlantic city and they bought a new 90 brougham d'elegance in black sapphire blue. Every time they came to a funeral, I parked their car. It had a blue leather interior which is not my taste (I love cloth interiors).

1994 or 95, they pull up with a whale. Brand new brougham. Well, I got to drive it around the block. I'd NEVER want one in town. Highway, I understand they're magnificent.

I told them "no thanks". The wife told me she wanted to trade it back. Similar to my experience with that 93 front drive bag of garbage...

Did you run Vogue "tyres" on your Cadillacs? I always thought those tires looked nice on a Caddy.... ;)

No, I was never really a vogue fan. Less so now because the tires in that picture were made from the exact dimensions of the factory installed Royal Seals. Friend of mine went to Diamondback and they started making them.

These were LOUSY tires. Wobbly, stiff, weighed a ton and rode like a Flintstone Firestone. People started buying them because they look correct. Vogue cried "Foul!!!" And made them stop due to copyright or something which is stupid because Vogues have the white and yellow bands reversed.

Didn't seem to be an issue when Uniroyal did it.

I still have the original set of Royal Seals stashed away that came on the car.

There was an old-time Cadillac dealer in Scottsdale that put Vogue tires on every new Cadillac they sold. That old Cadillac dealer got bought out by Auto Nation along with Lou Grubb Chevrolet and a couple other dealers that had been in the Valley since the Pony Express was still running. They actually had a guy there who understood the early Cadillac fuel injection systems like on the first Seville and would talk you thru troubleshooting over the phone. The late Erma Bombeck was a customer of ours. She bought one of the "little" Sevilles, a 1985 I think, special-ordered with baby poop green paint, tan vinyl top and leopard skin seat covers. And Vogue tyres.....

85 was the bustle back ala Hooper Rolls. Loved or hated them. The 75 (really a 76) was the Chevy novaville.

Betty white had one and it's in a museum now.

Erma's sounds like something Tammy Faye baker would be ashamed of

The little square front-drive Seville is the one I was talking about. Maybe an '86? The model that replaced the bustle-back model. I had an elmer whose kink was collecting 1981 Sevilles with the V8-6-4 engine which he loved. He had six of them. The "Nova" Seville was actually a pretty good car. The fuel injection could be an issue, but, if you got good service data, and if you were patient and didn't start throwing parts at one, it could be successfully and relatively economically repaired. I've wondered how one of those early Sevilles that had the injected 350 Olds engine would run with a carbureted Olds 455 in it.
